A Unique Graduation Experience
Focused on the dynamic intersection of art, design, and technology, the School of Visual Arts (SVA) of New York is renowned for pushing the boundaries of creativity. In keeping with this tradition, SVA honored graduates of the class of 2023 with POAPs. While not typically part of the Web3 community, SVA provided a smooth onboarding for students to commemorate their academic milestones with digital collectibles.
Commemorating Commencement
SVA created five distinct POAPs, each one crafted to celebrate a specific type of degree: BFA, MFA, MA, MPS, and MAT. These POAPs served as digital replicas of graduation diplomas, each carrying its own unique significance.
A custom experience
To ensure a seamless experience, students were empowered to mint their POAPs through an intuitively designed flow tailored exclusively for this activation: after commencement, graduates received emails containing unique links to view or transfer their digital collectibles to a digital wallet. SVA further facilitated understanding by publishing comprehensive POAP FAQs on their website.
