An interactive scavenger hunt to engage the community
Stepping into the spotlight at Art Basel, Rug Radio partnered with POAP for their first major community event at the RHAUS, an elegant villa in Miami.
The Rug Radio mission was to create a truly enchanting experience for guests, many of whom had not met before IRL. With this in mind, Rug Radio and POAP facilitated social connections through the shared activity of a POAP scavenger hunt, fostering engagement and forging new relationships within the community.
Enhancing the event experience through interaction
The highlight of the experience was a scavenger hunt, which led guests on an adventure throughout the villa, all while completing their POAP Passport: an app created by POAP Studio that shows the POAPs collected, those still to collect and a collectors leaderboard.
Guests who found certain POAPs were eligible to win artwork by a slate of participating artists. Hidden POAPs gave guests an excuse to engage each other in a shared mission and bond over a familiar element of Web3 native experiences
Generating excitement with online audiences
The journey began even before the event at the RHAUS, as Rug Radio initiated the experience online through a series of Twitter Spaces, distributing POAPs along the way. These POAPs allowed entry into a POAP Fun raffle for Golden Tickets to the main event at the RHAUS, thereby seamlessly integrating fans into the immersive experience from the outset
